Constance “Connie” Belle (Kirk) Rogers of Danville died Saturday. She was 82.
Born Jan. 29, 1931, in Morgan County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Goldie (Bange) Kirk. She married Donald Rogers on June 16, 1950, and he died Aug. 8, 1981.
Mrs. Rogers graduated from Monrovia High School in 1949. She was a homemaker and had also worked in the cafeterias of the Plainfield elementary schools and the former Public Service Indiana utility company.
She was a former member of Plainfield Christian Church.
Survivors include children Dawn (Andy) Savoldi of Jamestown, Shawn (Richard) Faille of Atlanta, Ga., and Alan (Kristy) Rogers of Rockford, Ill.; grandchildren Craig Rogers, Caleb, Elijah, Hannah, Abigail, Samuel, and Raima Faille, Taylor, Bailey, and Casey Savoldi; a brother, Richard Kirk of Plainfield; and friend and caregiver Bill Godsey of Danville.
Preceding her in death were a grandchild and two brothers.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
