Kitty Hazel Oliver of Danville died Sunday. She was 87.

Born June 26, 1926, in Missouri, she was a daughter of the late Joseph T. and Edith (Vaughn) Tindal. She married Duwel Markin and Loren Oliver. Both preceded her in death.

Mrs. Oliver worked for more than 20 years as a respiratory therapist. She worked at Hendricks County Hospital (now Hendricks Regional Health) and Medco Nursing Center (now Danville Regional Rehabilitation), before retiring in 1984.

Survivors include a son, John Markin of Ruskin, Fla.; a daughter, Debbie Cook of Danville; five grandchildren;and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were a daughter, Tammy Markin, and a brother, J.T. Tindal.

A private graveside service will be at Danville South Cemetery.
