Jack Lee Mendenhall died Thursday at his Roachdale home. He was 75.
Born May 8, 1937 in Bloomingdale, he was a son of the late Frank and Anna Copner Mendenhall. He married Nancy Perkins on May 18, 1979, at Roachdale and she survives.
Mr. Mendenhall graduated from New Winchester High School and owned and operated Mendenhall Construction and Excavating. He also taught at the Area 30 Career Center.
He was a member of the Roachdale Presbyterian Church, Roachdale Masonic Lodge No. 602 F.&A.M., and the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Jenny (Brandon) Martin of Indianapolis; sons Brian and Bruce; grandsons Brandon and Emme; a granddaughter, Lila; brothers John (Jody) Mendenhall of New Winchester, Bobby (Elizabeth) Mendenhall of Brownsburg, and Melvin Mendenhall of Friendswood, Texas; and a sister, Loretta (Dave) Botkin of Edinburg.
Preceding him in death were brothers Elvin, Bill, and Harold Mendenhall and sisters Mary Herring and Betty Fellows.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Roachdale Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dave Bowers officiating. Interment will be at Roachdale Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
Servies & Morgan Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Roachdale Masonic Lodge will have Masonic Memorial Services at 8 p.m. Monday.
