Lawrence R. “Bo” Schmitt

Lawrence R. “Bo” Schmitt died Friday at his Danville home. He was 64.

Born Dec. 10, 1948, in Indianapolis, he was a son of Joseph L. and Mary Stevens Schmitt.

He was a graduate of Danville High School and attended Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Chastity Ryan; his mother, Mary Schmitt; a brother, David A. Schmitt; his sister, Catherine (Craig) Pitts; his sister-in-law, Jan Schmitt; and grandchildren Lilly and Alex.

Preceding him in death were his father, Joseph Schmitt, and brother, Joseph Schmitt.

Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Danville. Interment will follow at New Winchester Cemetery.

Calling is for an hour prior to the service at the church.
