Dale Andrew Pollard of North Salem died Sunday following a long battle with cancer. He was 59.
Mr. Pollard was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from 1971 to ’73.
He enjoyed music, movies, painting, and spending time outdoors.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Donetta; his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and David Pollard; a brother, Vaughn Pollard; sisters Melissa (Frank) Olsen and Dawn Adams; a son, Heath Pollard; daughters Dana (Ed) Siefker, Shannon (Kevin) Fuller, and Rachel Pollard; grandsons Cody, Cole, and Lewis; granddaughters Erin and Evelyn; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Preceding him in death was his father, Sidney Napier.
Services are 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Baker Funeral Home in Danville.
Calling is from 3 p.m. until the service at the funeral home.
