Richard Glen Kiger of Indianapolis and formerly of Fillmore died Jan. 3. He was 68.
Born Oct. 27, 1945, in Putnam County, he was the son of Imogene (Ader) Kiger and the late William F. Kiger. He married Sandi Kiger and she preceded him in death.
Mr. Kiger was a 1963 graduate of Fillmore High School. He was a supervisor for the Indiana Department of Transportation for 16 years prior to retiring in 2009. He was a member of Fillmore Christian Church.
Mr. Kiger was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by children, William “Bill” D. Kiger of Quad Cities, Justin Davis of Tennessee, Jamie Kiger Davis of Quad Cities; six grandchildren; brothers, Vince Kiger of Danville and Michael Kiger of Indianapolis; uncle, Don Kiger of Greencastle; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Jan. 11 in Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will be in Fillmore Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service in the funeral home.
