Osborne

Edward Ray Osborne died Sunday at his Thorntown home. He was 55.

Born April 27, 1957, in Montclaire, he was a son of the late Nick Osborne and Wanda Brown. He married Rebecca Bewley in Lebanon on Feb. 4, 2005, and she survives.

Mr. Osborne worked for his brother in the furniture refinishing business for more than 20 years.

He was a member of Thorntown United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and cooking.

Survivors include children Shane Osborne, Barbara, Tonya, and April; brothers Ronald Osborne and Denny Osborne, both of Thorntown; sisters Bonnie Flecter of Frankfort, Sharon Haggy of Clayton, and Peggy Warner of New York; and six grandchildren.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home in Thorntown with the Rev. Karen Ottjes officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
