Terrill “Terry” Sullivan of Plainfield died Thursday. He was 66.
Born March 18, 1947, in Columbia, Ky., he was a son of the late Cassius and Letha (Collins) Sullivan.
He worked 11 years for Bryant Heating & Cooling before retiring in 1977 and 27 years for Yellow Freight before retiring in 2004. He owned Sullivan’s Auto Sales in Plainfield for 20 years until 2008.
Mr. Sullivan was a member of the Plainfield Masonic Lodge No. 653, Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3207, Order of Eastern Star No. 519, and American Legion Post 118.
He enjoyed going to flea markets.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley (Ford) Sullivan; a son, Terry (Joslyn) Sullivan Jr.; brothers Jim (Shirley) Collins and Rodger (Patty) Sullivan; sisters Fern (Virl) Murray and Geneva Underwood; a brother-in-law, Kenneth (Pam) Ford Jr.; sisters-in-law Patsy Starlin, Darlene (John) Ayers, Marjorie and Nelda Sullivan; and grandchildren Lukas and Lillianna Sullivan.
Preceding him in death were his in-laws Kenneth and Lucille (Polson) Ford; brothers Earl, Gilbert, Huston and Roy Sullivan; and a brother-in-law, William Starlin.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.
