Shirley F. Milhon of Greencastle

Shirley F. Milhon of Greencastle died Tuesday. She was 79 and had formerly resided in Cloverdale.

Mrs. Milhon was the youngest of 12 children born to Shirley and Agnes Akins Dorsett at Belle Union. She was the widow of Robert G. Milhon.

She was a homemaker and a long-time cook at Cascade High School. She loved animals of all kinds.

Survivors include sons Danny G. Milhon and wife Joanne Orr and Rusty L. Milhon and companion Janette Rady; grandsons Michael and Derek Milhon; a sister, Margaret (Fern) Travis; a sister-in-law, Norma Jean Dorsett; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were sisters Leo Clearwaters, Rosalie Allen, Dorothy Moake, Ruby Sichting, Colleen Lawrence, and Esta Foster; and brothers Raymond Dorsett, Donald Dorsett, Bobbie Dorsett, and Wayne Dorsett.

Graveside services are 11 a.m. Friday at Stilesville Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Staggers officiating.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville is handling arrangements.
