Sandra Lou Larmer of North Salem died Feb. 14 in Hendricks Regional Heath in Danville. She was 71.
Born Sept. 21, 1942, in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Frank Richard and Evelyn Rosemary (Smith) Davenport.
After graduating from North Salem High School, Mrs. Larmer went on to mortuary school. She served her internship with Bob Porter and then worked for Shirley Brothers. She also worked as a dispatcher for the National House Trucking. In later years, she worked as a secretary for Moreland Farm Service and Crop Production Services.
Survivors include her daughters, Shelly (Randy) Voiles and Shannon (Ric) Scrimager, both of North Salem; sister, Sheila Owen of North Salem; brother, Steven Lee of Davenport, Calif.; and grandchildren, Courtney Voils and Ryan Voils.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 19 in North Salem Christian Church, 6 N. California Street in North Salem, with the Rev. Rob Baire officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 18 in the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested the memorial contributions be made to the Hendricks County Humane Society, 3033 E. Main Street, Danville, IN 46122.
