Alma Lorene (Page) Keeler of Avon died Feb. 7. She was 93.
Born Feb. 10, 1920, in Dennison, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Herman and Florence Page. She married Irvin H. Keeler and he survives. They were married for 71 years.
Mrs. Keeler graduated from Commercial College in 1949. She traveled the world extensively with her husband. She loved to collect antiques, especially dolls and china. She was an active member of Avon United Methodist Church and a volunteer at the VA Hospital for 12 years, while three of her sons were in the service.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Jeff (Lorna), Jim (Virginia), Joe (Billie), Jack (Gail) Keeler; daughter, Jane Keeler; sister, Eva Lou Johnson; eight grandchildren, Scott, Suzy, Nick, Michael, Bob, Daniel, Kyle, and Matthew; one great granddaughter, Solana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, John David Keeler; and brothers, Oren and Ralph Page.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 13, in Avon United Methodist Church, 6850 E. U.S. 36, in Avon. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 12 in Conkle Funeral Home Avon Chapel.
