David W. Perkins died Thursday at his residence. He was 64.
Born June 10, 1949, he was the son of Juanita Perkins Long. He married Carla J. Kirby on May 7, 1971, in White Lick Presbyterian Church. She survives.
Mr. Perkins served in the Vietnam War and was a maintenance supervisor for the Indiana Department of Corrections. His memberships included White Lick Presbyterian Church in Avon.
Also surviving are two daughters, Amy McIain and Jerry Ebert; sisters Dianna Perry, Debra Shaffer, and Angela Taylor; and seven grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. July 25 in David A. Hall Mortuary, Pittsboro, with visitation there 4-8 p.m. July 24. Burial will be in White Lick Presbyterian Cemetery.
