Inez I. "Sue" Muston of Brownsburg

Inez I. "Sue" Muston of Brownsburg died Sunday. She was 83.

Born Dec. 9, 1930, in Salina, Kan., she was a daughter of the late Albert and Bertha (Shelton) Olson. She married Richard L. Muston in 1951 and he died in ‘98.

She worked 35 years at Shield Drug/Prescription Plus in New Baden, Ill., retiring as a pharmacy tech in 2005.

While in New Baden, she was on the board and volunteered at the New Baden Library. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, and traveling. She was a volunteer for several charitable organizations and a member of the Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church in Avon.

Survivors include sons Michael S. (JoAnn) and John A. (Patty) Muston; daughters Susanna (Gilbert) Thibodeaux and Bea (Ron) Muston; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was an infant son, Rodney L. Muston.

Memorial services will be held in Illinois at a later date.

Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield is handling arrangements.
