Harry F. “Bud” Tidler Jr. of Plainfield died Feb. 10. He was 86.
Born Oct. 31, 1927, in Tipton, he was the son of Thelma Cooper and Harry F. Tidler Sr. He married Delores Ann (Brittain). She preceded him in death in 2004. He married Rosemary Jones Tidler of Plainfield and she survives.
Mr. Tidler was a pilot for more than 30 years for Lake Central, Allegheny Airlines and US Airways retiring in 1989. He was also a custom homebuilder.
He was a member of Plainfield Eagles Lodge 2186, Masonic Lodge, and Glades Golf and Country Club in Naples, Fla.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Brian (Anne) Tidler, Steve (Debbie) Tidler; brothers, Dean, Hal, and Jack Tidler; sister, Sharon McClintock; grandchildren, Eric and Craig Tidler, Danielle Tidler Elkington, Ryan Tidler; and great grandson, Quintin Tidler.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 15 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service in the funeral home.
