Dale Everett Cox of Brownsburg died Feb. 4. He was 54.
Born in Biloxi, Miss., he was the son of the late Lorin Cox and Alberta (Wills) Cox. He married Maureen (Guthrie) Cox and she survives.
Mr. Cox graduated from Maconaquah High School in Bunker Hill. He served in the U.S. Navy as an independent duty pharmacy technician at Great Lakes Naval Base in Illinois. He earned a bachelor of science degree in Accounting from Ball State University.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Rebecca “Becky” Cox, Elizabeth “Libby” Cox; son, Daniel Cox; brothers, Michael (Marie) Cox of Muncie, Stephen (Lyn) Cox of Mechanicsburg, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 15 in the Cathedral of Prayer in Plainfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Horizon Hospice Services in Danville.
Arrangements were entrusted to Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel.
