Paul William “Bill” Boller died Saturday night at his New Winchester home. He was 88.
Born Feb. 25, 1925, in Cass County, he was the eldest son of Elijah Matthew Boller and Afton Irene (Taylor) Boller. He married Helen Virginia Lanham on Dec. 22, 1947, and she survives.
Mr. Boller had farmed from the sixth grade until last year when he could no longer climb into his tractor. In the earlier years he had raised hogs and cattle.
He and his wife enjoyed hosting Sunday family dinners and holiday dinners.
Additional survivors include children Billie Hendricks and husband Steve of Danville, John Boller and Melanie Broadstreet of Coatesville, Donald Boller and wife Lynn of Coatesville, Jacquelene Woodrum and Luther Murray of Roachdale, and Carol Sue Boyer and husband Bill of Lizton; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild on the way; a sister, Viola Cox of Greencastle; and a brother, Ray Boller of Bainbridge.
Preceding him in death were brothers Charles Boller, Elijah Boller, and Wayne Boller and a sister, Betty Williams.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bousley-Hays Funeral Home with the Rev. Harlan Kincade officiating. Interment will follow at New Winchester Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
