— Elizabeth Endicott of Avon died Monday at Avon Manor Care. She was 96 and had formerly resided in Darlington.

Born Aug. 9, 1916, in Clinton County, she was a daughter of the late Herschel Beard and Rosa Parr. She married Ralph Endicott in Advance on Aug. 9, 1936, and he died Nov. 2, 1996.

Mrs. Endicott graduated from Jackson Township High School in Clinton County in 1934. She was a homemaker and helped her husband in his garage business for many years. The couple had wintered in Florida for many years.

She was a member of Darlington Christian Church East.

Survivors include a son, Thomas Endicott and wife Rosemary of Avon; grandchildren Lesia Sims of Indianapolis, Michael Endicott of Plainfield, and Lori Cook of Danville; and great-grandchildren Jenna Endicott and Blake Cook.

Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home in Lebanon with the Rev. Ben Hipzseld officiating. Interment will be at the Lutheran Cemetery in Montgomery County.

Calling is for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
