Florence “Anita” Cooper of Danville died Dec. 5. She was 78.
Born Oct. 25, 1935, in Hendricks County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Martha Ellen Wright Martin. She married Donald S. Cooper in 1956 and he preceded her in death in April 2005.
Mrs. Cooper graduated from Plainfield High School. She was an avid Bingo player and collected dolls, especially Hummels.
Survivors include her son, Keith S. (Tammy) Cooper of Danville; grandson, Taylor S. (Krysta) Cooper of Danville; granddaughter, Tara Cooper of Clayton; great granddaughters, Avery Barton and Kayla Cooper; sister, Beverly Hack of Plainfield; brother, Walter “Bud” Martin of Plainfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Malcolm Hack.
A private burial will be held in the Stilesville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 9 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield.
