Carolyn V. Mills of Coatesville died May 22. She was 69.

Born Aug. 30, 1943, in Gary, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sophie (Yachimack) Shaffer. She married David Mills on May 28, 1971. He survives.

Mrs. Mills earned her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and worked for many years in the pharmacy at the Plainfield Marsh store. Her hobbies included fishing, canning, and cooking.

Also surviving are a daughter, Patti Taylor of Danville; a brother, Terry W. Jones of Indianapolis; and a sister, Linda Cass of St. Pete, Fla.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 6-8 p.m. June 3 in Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 39 E. High St., Mooresville.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Veterans Foundation.
