Alberta Malicoat of Plainfield died April 4. She was 85.
Born April 27, 1928, in Woodstock, Ky., she was the daughter of the late William C. and Leola A. (Denny) Lovins. She married Elmer F. Malicoat and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Malicoat was a member of Plainfield Christian Church. She enjoyed country music, dancing, and watching television cooking shows.
Survivors include daughters, Susie (Don) Brown of Plainfield, Bonnie (LeRoy) Bacon of Plainfield, Loretta (companion, Walt) Johnson, and Lori (companion, Andrew) Malicoat of Danville; sons, Frank (Ruth) Malicoat of Danville and Charlie Malicoat of Plainfield; sister, Francis Beeson of Ladoga; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Sandi Cooper and Debbie Napier; three brothers; and three sisters.
Services were held April 8 in Porter Funeral Home in North Salem.
