— Wanda L. [Caudill] Stinson of Greencastle died Saturday at Danville Rehabilitation. She was 74 and had formerly resided in Stilesville.

Born April 18, 1939, in Bainbridge, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Novella (Singleton) Caudill.

She graduated from Belle Union High School in 1957. On Oct. 3, 1959, she married James Stinson in a double wedding ceremony at the Union Valley Church at Belle Union. He died Aug. 6, 2010.

Mrs. Stinson retired from the Hendricks County Hospital in 1999 where she worked in housekeeping for several years.

Survivors include her children, William Stinson and wife Cindy of Greencastle, Douglas Stinson and wife Teresa of Greencastle, Amy Stinson, formerly of Stilesville, and Thomas Stinson and wife Amber of Avon; grandchildren Cody and Cheyanne Stinson of Brownsburg, Maddison and Gracie of Avon, Raymond, Robert, Conner and little Gracie of Greencastle; a sister, Phyllis (Caudill) Hamilton of Greencastle; a sister-in-law, Jean Allee of Reelsville; brother-in-laws  Earl Evens of Arkansas and Hansford Stinson of Fillmore; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were children James Dee Stinson and Lori Leigh Stinson; sisters Luverne Evens and Verdenia Caudill; and a twin brother, Wilburn Caudill.

Services are 3 p.m. Wednesday at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Interment will be at Deer Creek Cemetery.

Calling at the funeral home is for three hours prior to the service.
