Bobby E. Maupin

Bobby E. Maupin of Mooresville died Thursday. He was 72.

Born July 1, 1940, he was the son of the late George Washington and Lena Lillian (Barnet) Maupin. He married Anna Robinson on Feb. 12, 1960. She survives.

Mr. Maupin was raised in Plainfield and graduated from Plainfield High School in 1958. He worked in management for Union Carbide for 25 years. Later he was employed with Carter Construction through FAA and Yellow Freight for 13 years.

Also surviving are a son, Robert Allen Maupin of Mooresville; a daughter, Robin Ann DeArth (Steve Morse) of Plainfield; a brother, Larry D. Maupin of Indianapolis; sisters Maxine Carter of Avon, Pauletta Carlisle of Avon, Virginia Sue Brinson of Plainfield, Maida Jean Miller of Kokomo, and Betty Ann Suhre of Avon.

Brothers George T. and Clayton W. Maupin also preceded him in death.

Services are 11 a.m. Nov. 6 in Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with visitation there 4-8 p.m. Nov. 5. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
