Diana Lynn Cox of Plainfield died Oct. 23 at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville. She was 56.
Born Jan. 15, 1956, in Indianapolis, she was a daughter of Henry Neal and Patricia Kirtley Cox. She was married and then later divorced from Douglas Yates.
She graduated in 1974 from Danville Community High School.
Ms. Cox enjoyed animals, especially her horses and Rowdy, her golden retriever. She was active in the 4-H Horse and Pony Project and also the Danville Girl Scouts.
Survivors include a sister, Alice Cox Pipher (Stephen); nephews Jacob Pipher of Tucson, Ariz., and Benjamin Pipher of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a niece, Anna Pipher Scully (Justin) of Elgin, Ill.; an uncle, Dr. R. W. Kirtley of Seymour; and an aunt, Mary Ann Kirtley Fleece (Bob) of North Salem.
Services are 3 p.m. Saturday at Baker Funeral Home in Danville with the Rev. Darrin Hoffman officiating.
Calling at the funeral home is for two hours prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the Hendricks County Humane Society, Ronald McDonald House, or the Whitelick Presbyterian Church.
