Paul M. Cornwell died June 8. He was 84.
Born May 13, 1930, he was the son of the late Paul and Edna Cornwell. He married H. Joan Cornwell and she survives. They were married nearly 59 years.
Mr. Cornwell was a U.S. Army veteran serving as a mechanic during the Korean War (1951-’53). He worked at Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 20 for 38 years before retiring in 1992.
He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
He is also survived by his children Paula (Al) Snyder and Chris (Barb) Cornwell; seven grandchildren, Helee (Rick) Adkins, Aaron (Abby) Cornwell, Courtney (Nick) Carr, Andrew and Austin Cornwell, Kearstin and Kayla Criswell; and great-grandchildren, Michaela, Micenzi, and Michenna Livengood, Allie and Max Cornwell.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Glendy; and his daughter, Dianna Criswell.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. June 13 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service in the mortuary.
