Bernard J. Rezy died Dec. 22. He was 104.

Born Nov. 13, 1909, he was a native of Reedsville, Wis.

Mr. Rezy moved to Milwaukee where he attended schools at St. Elizabeth, Messmer High School, and Marquette University. He then moved to Toledo in 1934 where he worked for Libby-Owens-Ford Glass Company, now Pilkington, helping to develop and manufacture the first double insulating glass, thermopane. He worked for 39 and a half years retiring s plan manager on June 1, 1973.

He and his wife, Eve, were married for 55 years. She preceded him in death. The couple moved to Pensacola, Fla., living on Perdido Key.

He was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and supporter of various charities

Survivors include sons, Bernard J. Jr. and Robert J., both of Danville; daughters, Carol L. of Sylva, N.C., and Rita R. of Toledo; and three granddaughters, Ginger Rezy, Cathi Rezy, and Tricia Schroeder.

There will be a memorial service at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Pensacola, Fla., at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 10650 Gulf Beach Hwy Pensacola, FL 32507.

Baker Funeral Home, Danville, was entrusted with final arrangements.
