Jayme Suayn Jones Gibbs of Danville died Thursday at the age of 29.
Born Feb. 14, 1984, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Charles Jones and Rebecca (Weber) Souder.
Mrs. Gibbs was 2001 graduate of Danville High School and earned a degree as a cosmetologist. She worked as a beautician at Marshall-Meece Beauty Salon in Avon and coached the seventh-grade volleyball team at Danville Middle School. She also was on the fundraising committee for Mega Strong and helped coach the girls' basketball traveling team of Danville. Her memberships included Northview Christian Church.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Becky (Weber) and David Souder; her father, Charles Jones; two daughters, Neva and Renae Gibbs; two sisters, Jenisa Hurt and Jessica Souder of Danville; two nieces, Maci Hurt and Jenna Souder; a nephew, Dalton Hurt of Danville; and aunts and uncles.
Her grandparents, Gene and Ruby Jones and Glen (Pappy) and Geneva Weber, preceded her in death.
Services are 2 p.m. Nov. 2 in Northview Christian Church, with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in New Winchester Cemetery. Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home, Danville, is entrusted with arrangements.
