Bill K. Beaver of North Salem, formerly of Fishers, died Thursday at his home. He was 87.

Born Aug. 29, 1926, in Noblesville, he was the son of Omer V. Beaver and Mary (Klepfer) Beaver. He married Barbara Kinzer in 1950 and she died in 1998.

Mr. Beaver graduated from Fishers High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He owned and operated a dairy farm for more than 40 years. In 1989, he moved to North Salem where he continued to farm with his son Jeff. He remained active until his death.

Survivors include his daughter, Shirley; sons Jeff and Jim and wife Linda; and grandchildren Lauren, Taryn, and Daniel.

Services are 1 p.m. Oct. 23 in Highland Cemetery Chapel, Fishers, with visitation there for two hours prior to services. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Family and friends may call 4-8 p.m. Oct. 22 in Porter Funeral Home, North Salem.
