Charles Louis Lehman

Charles Louis Lehman of Avon died Thursday. He was 90.

Born Aug. 10, 1922, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a son of the late Louis and Emma Lehman.

Mr. Lehman worked 43 years as a senior buyer for Allison Gas Turbine before retiring in 1982.

He was a member or Plainfield Masonic Lodge No. 653 and Indianapolis Scottish Rite, where he received the Meritorious Service Award.

Survivors include his wife, Jeannette A. (Karda) Lehman; a daughter, Priscilla L. (Pat) Lehman; a son, Philip C. Lehman; a grandson, Aaron L. Lehman; and a sister, Ardis Wilson.

Preceding him in death was a daughter, Linda Ann Lehman.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel at Maple Hill Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, with Masonic services at 7 p.m.
