Mary Virginia Gentry

Mary Virginia Gentry died Tuesday at her Danville home. She was 95.

Born April 12, 1917, in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Wesley Edward and Lula Mae (Lines) Brown.

She was a homemaker and a member of Berean Baptist Church in Terre Haute.

Survivors include sons John Edward (Toni), Frank (Annice Joy), and Thomas H. (Anita) Gentry; a daughter, Hazel Williams; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, John R. Gentry, and a grandson, John Wesley Gentry.

Graveside services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Spring Hill Cemetery in Cartersburg with the Rev. Larry Lilly officiating.

Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield is handling arrangements.
