Barker

Lesa Greathouse Barker died Thursday morning at her Rochester home. She was 48.

Born Sept. 22, 1964, in Indianapolis, she was a daughter of Larry and Linda Bailey Greathouse. She married Donald J. Barker on March 19, 2011, in Brown County.

Mrs. Barker graduated from Plainfield High School, and later attended Cedarville Christian College. She worked 20 years as a loss control manager for National Car Rental. She also worked as a substitute teacher and bus driver for the Avon Community School Corporation.

Prior to losing her fight with cancer, she owned and operated the Fulton County Gun Club in Rochester.

Survivors include her husband, Don; a daughter, Savannah Jo Boone; her mother, Linda Barker of Bloomfield; her father, Larry Greathouse and wife Delores of Fishers; a sister, Cindy Schulte and husband Nathan of Bloomfield; a brother, Anthony Greathouse and wife Lexi of Monticello; nieces Lacey Franklin, Kylie Greathouse, and Rhylie Funk; nephews Reece Schulte, Ryan Schulte, Kaden Greathouse, Rheagan Greathouse, and Aspen Greathouse; and step daughters Ashley Boone and Lindsay Boone.

Services are 3 p.m. Tuesday at Plainfield Bible Church, 752 North Dan Jones Road, Plainfield, with Chaplain Jason See officiating. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.

Calling at the church is for three hours prior to the service.
