Ralph “Jack” Norman Jr. of Danville died Tuesday in his home. He was 73.
Born Aug. 23, 1939, he was the son of the late Ralph and Gertrude (Brummelhoff) Norman.
Mr. Norman graduated from Indiana State University with a bachelor’s in parks and recreation and served in the U.S. Navy. He was an executive with Boy Scouts of America for 32 years, retiring in 2003. His memberships included St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Danville.
Survivors include his children, Teresa Chumbley of Carrollton, Texas, Jack, Mike, and David Norman of Angleton, Texas, and Ralph “Chip” Norman III of Hagerstown, Ind.; a brother, Thomas G. Norman of Houston; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A gathering of friends will take place 4-6 p.m. May 27 in his home, 17 Danridge Drive, Danville. Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home, Danville, is in charge of arrangements.
