Eva Anna Hefley

Eva Anna Hefley of Danville died Monday at Hendricks Regional Health. She was 76.

Born April 17, 1936, in Kirkland, she was the daughter of the late Fred Jefferson and Hazel Clark Shields. She married Edward O. Hefley and he died in 1983.

Mrs. Hefley was a homemaker and also worked at Hendricks County Hospital for many years. Her memberships included Abundant Life House of Mercy in Danville.

Survivors include children Ellen (Chuck) Davis of Danville, Edward (Kathy) Hefley Jr. of Indianapolis, Eric Hefley (Sandy Hennen) of Plainfield, Ernest J. Hefley of Lizton, Evan Hefley (Cindy Wyatt) of Virginia, Evelyn Hefley of Danville, and Elizabeth Hefley of Danville; a sister, Mary (James) Blankenship of Danville; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A brother, Jacob Shields, preceded her in death.

Services are 11 a.m. Friday in Abundant Life House of Mercy (formerly Danville Apostolic Church) with her grandson, Elder Rick Hefley, officiating. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday in Baker Funeral Home, Danville.
