Born Feb. 3, 1048, in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Marian (Grzesiak) Peters. She married Terry Meingasner Sept. 16, 1972, and he survives.
Mrs. Meingasner was a social butterfly and loved the art of conversation. She worked as an insurance agent for many years and loved to travel and take trips with her family. She was an avid baker and had a soft spot for animals.
In addition to her husband, she was survived by son, Mark and Natasha (Wernz) Meingasner; daughter, Jennifer (Meingasner) and Jason Denbrook; daughter, Megan (Meingasner) and David Skelding; sister, Barbara (Peters) and Gregg Sacha; sister-in-law, Donna Peters; grandsons, Brandon, Ryan, and Ethan Denbrook; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jim Peters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Jan. 15, at St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield. Entombment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Jan. 14 in Hall-Maker Funeral Home in Plainfield.
