Robert Flinchem

Robert Flinchem of Indianapolis died Tuesday at Avon Rehabilitation Center. He was 85.

He was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel; a daughter and son-in-law, Sonia and Dee Jeffards; sons Vadus and Carl Darrin and his wife Susan; sisters Lorine Jones and Lucille of Indianapolis; grandchildren Cody, Amber, Jacob, Luke, and Zachery; and a great-grandson, Josiah.

Preceding him in death was a daughter, Carla.

Services and calling are from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Little Church by the Side of the Road on West Morris Street in Indianapolis, with the Rev. Willis Howard officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Hazard, Ky.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.

Family Funeral Care is handling arrangements.
