Anna J. (Shatto) Wickersham of Danville

Anna J. (Shatto) Wickersham of Danville died Tuesday at Plainfield Healthcare. She was 95.

Born Oct. 17, 1914, in Lagrange County, she was a daughter of the late John and Goldie (Chamberlin) Shatto. She married Henry Wickersham on March 30, 1934, in Auburn. He died June 5, 2005.

Mrs. Wickersham worked many years as a salesperson at Julian Women’s Apparel Store in Richmond, before retiring.

She was a member of Danville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ernie and Tomiko Wickersham of Avon; a daughter, Phyllis Wickersham of Middleburg, Fla.; grandchildren Mark and Greg Wickersham; and great-grandchildren Grace and Rose.

Private graveside services at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester will be held at a later date.

Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.
