Winnona Lou Wayman died Monday at the age of 80.
Born Oct. 3, 1929, in Pattinsburg, Mo., she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Richard Grant and Ida Mildred Brooks Grant. She married Stanley Bryan Wayman in Missouri on Sept. 2, 1960, and he also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Wayman worked as a quality control supervisor for Parmelee Industries (U.S. Safety) in Windsor, Mo., until retiring in 1994.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, and watching “Jeopardy.”
Mrs. Wayman recently moved to Plainfield to reside with her daughter, son-in-law, and their family. Since moving here, she attended Center Community Church where her son-in-law is pastor.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jera Lyn and Roger Foggin of Plainfield; grandchildren Christina Renee Foggin and David Andrew Foggin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carole and T.C. Pfennig of Georgetown, Texas, and Gloria and Rodney Inciong of Kula, Hawaii; brothers and sisters-in-law Donald and Roberta Grant of Green Cove Springs, Fla., and Gary and Lorene Grant of Hundred, W.V.; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Mildred Geraldine Grant Broomfield, and brothers Kenneth Paul Grant, Richard Jerome Grant, and Frank Leroy Grant.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Center Community Church, 5938 S. C.R. 700 E., Plainfield, with the Rev. Roger Foggin officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Fund.
Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield is handling arrangements.
