Charles R. Harding

Charles R. Harding died June 27 at his Plainfield home. He was 61.

Born June 1, 1948, in Indianapolis, he was a son of Charles M. and Dorothy A. Lowe Harding. He married Sue Ann Eastes in Bridgeport on Jan. 29, 1966, and she survives.

Mr. Harding worked 42 years as a machinist, most recently with Mears Machine Shop in Avon.

Survivors include his wife, Sue; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles H. and Janet Harding of Indianapolis; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly A. and Bart Holding of Stilesville; a brother, Thomas L. Harding of Indianapolis; and grandchildren Shawn Acton, Zack Harding, and Mariah Massengill.

Preceding him in death was a daughter, Kelly S. Massengill.

Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield. Interment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.

Calling at the funeral home is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
