Marilyn L. Courtney Bilbee of Indianapolis died Saturday. She was 84.
Born Sept. 29, 1923, in Marion City, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Ada Gentry Courtney. She was the widow of Francis M. Bilbee.
Mrs. Bilbee was a 1941 graduate of Brownsburg High School. She worked at Eli Lilly & Co. and St. Francis Hospital during World War II.
She was a member of the Community Hospital East Auxiliary for more than 35 years, serving as president from 1981-83. She was a member of Post Road Christian Church.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Janice L. and Ron Meyer, and Teresa J. and Bob McCullough; a son and daughter-in-law, James M. and Julie Bilbee; and grandchildren Brian Meyer, Lori White, Courtney Larson, Ryan McCall, and Tyler McCall.
Preceding her in death were sisters Kathryn Foudray and Margaret Freeman.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to Post Road Christian Church or Community Hospital East Auxiliary.
