Stevens finishes infantry training at Fort Benning

---- — U.S. Army National Guard Spec. Nathanael J. Stevens graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga.

During nine weeks of training, he received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions.

Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experiencing the use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to infantry crewmen.

Stevens is the son of Georgia and Roger Stevens of Brownsburg.

He graduated from a home school program in 2005. He earned a bachelor degree in 2010 from Indiana University-Purdue University, Kelley School of Business, Indianapolis.
