PLAINFIELD — Marie Hopkins will celebrate her 95th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Friends Apartments Meeting Room in Plainfield. Cards may be sent to her at 3700 Clarks Creek Road, #116, Plainfield, IN 46168, in care of the Plainfield Health Care Center.
Mrs. Hopkins is a member of the Plainfield Friends Meeting, the Quaker Homebuilders Club, the Fairfield Home Economics Club, and a lifetime member of the Union Home Economics Club. She is a past District Deputy, Noble Grand, and past financial secretary of the Naomi Rebekah Lodge 115 of Plainfield. She is also a past Regent of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Mrs. Hopkins is the widow of William Hopkins of Plainfield. She is the mother of Elaine (Bob) Schulltz of Fort Myers, Fla., Anna Hopkins of Plainfield, and the late Nancy (Jim) Copeland. She is the grandmother of Jeff (Cindy) Copeland of Indianapolis and Sandy (Korry) Thurlo of Highlandville, Mo.
