Bowling anniversary

James and Suzanne (Straber) Bowling of Brownsburg are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, Nov. 30.

The couple was married in 1963 at Fleming Garden Christian Church in Indianapolis.

Mrs. Bowling worked 30 years as a sales promotion manager at Allison Gas Turbine, GMC, before retiring.

She is a member of Phi Beta Psi Sorority, Brownsburg Chapter of Order of Eastern Star, Red Hat Society, and a volunteer- IPS School No. 99 at Arlington Woods Elementary School.

Mr. Bowling is president of American Jeweler, Inc. in Indianapolis. He is a Kentucky colonel, a member of the Speedway American Legion, the Indianapolis Masonic Lodge 669, and the American Gem Society.

They are the parents of Amy (Mark) Clifton of Brownsburg, and the grandparents of Tyler Joseph, Marcus Joseph and Allison Joseph.
