Business workshops held this month

KJD Legal and Growing Forward recently announced that they will hold a three part workshop: Inspiration to Implementation: How to take an idea to a business from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 16, 23, and 30. The workshop will be held at Office Suite Plus at 3815 River Crossing Parkway, Suite 100, Indianapolis.

Each participant will receive a workbook / journal to keep notes and ideas during the workshop. There will also be discussions and learning opportunities with others who share the goal of opening a business.

Each participant will receive KJD Legal offers legal consultation and advisory services in the areas of small business and real estate. Kathy Davis is an attorney based in Brownsburg. She is a 2001 graduate of Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.

She is a graduate of Leadership Hendricks County, 2011, a member of the Board of Directors of the Hendricks County Economic Development Partnership, and a volunteer for the Hendricks County Community Foundation.

Growing Forward helps people realize their potential; stay focused, and creates the success they deserve by motivating, connecting and listening to their goals and dreams. Sandi Ballard has a diverse career background filled with entrepreneurial spirit. She began with a degree in graphic design, quickly becoming the art director of a small print shop. At a young age, she started her own business, Visual Communication Design Studio.

She is the Secretary for the Board of Partnership For Lawrence, Arts Awareness Group. Sandi is a past Board Member for the Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce. A graduate of Herron School of Art in Visual Communications, Ballard has spent her career helping a connecting others. She was a 2008 Finalist for Indy’s Best and Brightest, a winner of the YWCA’s Salute to Women of Achievement, the 2006 Executive of the Year – Women’s Professional Football League and the 2006 Spirit Winner – Indiana University Entrepreneurial Awards of Distinction.
