Traffic on I-70 returned to normal

Traffic flow on eastbound I-70, near the 68 mile marker, has been returned to normal after a multi-car accident occurred at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Authorities said the accident occurred when a Dodge pickup truck rolled over, which caused two other cars to get caught up in the wreck.

Westbound traffic was unaffected but in these situations, authorities advise motorists to be cautious of drivers who may slow down to look at the crash scene.

Responding to the scene were Plainfield Fire Department, Indiana State Police, and two deputies from the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department.
