Hot Skates Roller Skating Rink now owns and operates the Avon facility formerly known as Rock & Rollers at 241 Casco Drive. Opening day has been set for Dec. 6.
Hot Skates Roller Skating Rink is a corporation that has been in the industry for more than 40 years. The corporation operates in many cities throughout the country including Tampa, Long Island, New York, and New Jersey.
“The only similarity between us and Rock& Rollers is that we both will have occupied the same address,” sales manager Jen Dossey said in a press release. “Other than that, guests will see huge improvements in both the physical facility and the operations of the rink. The rink is undergoing a complete transformation including a new wood floor, a clean carpet, and a guest friendly staff and management team.”
Experience will be the key to making Hot Skates a vibrant piece of the Avon community, she said.
“We host thousands of fundraisers each and every year in our different centers,” Dossey said. “We are a resource for the schools, churches, and non-profit organizations in the communities that we operate. We provide quality, affordable entertainment for daycares, summer groups, and youth groups. When we move in, we plan on staying for a long time. This is a really exciting project, and we’re looking forward to opening day. The community has been so supportive in our vision, and every child I talk to is ready to lace up a pair of skates.”
