Three movements from "Symphonie Fantastique" will complete the program. A composer from early in the Romantic Era, Berlioz premiered the symphony in 1830; however, it underwent several revisions for the next 15 years. Listen for the same theme, the idŽe fixe, in all three movements.
Performance times are 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 and 3 p.m. Oct. 7. Both concerts are at Avon Middle School South. Tickets are $15 at the door ($7 for students with ID, $12 senior discount) and $12 in advance ($5 for students). Advance tickets and season tickets may be purchased online at HendricksSymphonic.org. Prices for season tickets: $40 single adult, $70 - 2 adult companion tickets, $90 family, $20 student.
