---- — Dorothy May (Stephens) Meadows of Crawfordsville died Sunday at Williamsburg Healthcare in Crawfordsville. She was 91

Born Feb. 25, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Henry Earl and Cordelia May (Grissom) Stephens. She married Robert Louis Meadows on Feb. 2, 1947, in Crawfordsville. He died July 14, 1997.

Mrs. Meadows was a homemaker and enjoyed helping her husband farm for 47 years. She was a 1939 graduate of Wingate High School and a member of the Wesley Chapel Church. She enjoyed doing crafts and was an avid sports fan.

Survivors include a son, James “Jim” (Mary Ann) Meadows of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Roberta Kay Swain of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was a son, John Earl Meadows, who died in 1980; a sister, Mabel Hedrick; and an infant brother.

Services are 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home in Crawfordsville with the Rev. Danny Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
