— SecondHand Tuesdays $1 a Bag Sale will take place all day Sept. 10. Every second Tuesday, February through September the Library Shop will feature a $1 a Bag day. Bags are provided in the shop so stop in for some great bargains.
— Women’s Health will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 11 in meeting room B. This program is for women who are peri-menopausal or menopausal, and are gaining belly fat, having hot flashes, insomnia, anxiety, and have a decreased libido. Come and find out how to balance hormones with natural hormones, supplements, and lifestyle. It is taught by Registered Nurse and Health Coach Robin Edlib and is for ages 18 and older. Registration required and ends at noon on Sept. 10.
— The library blood drive will take place at 10 a.m. Sept. 18. The Indiana Blood Center Bloodmobile will be parked in the library lot donations. A photo ID is required. Time slots are available from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Check the IBC website for eligibility at www.indianablood.org/donating/Pages/Eligibility.aspx.
— Round Table Readers will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 in meeting room C. This book that will be discussed is “Good-bye for Now” by Laurie Frankel. Copies are available at the front desk for check out.
— Third Thursday Crafts will take place at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 29 in meeting room B. Bring craft projects to work on, chat with friends, and take a look at the newest craft books the library has to offer. All crafters age 18 and older are welcome, including knitters, crocheters, and scrapbookers.
