What's going on at the senior center?

The Hendricks County Senior Center is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and offers the following activities:

April 21 — Fitness center open, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Loose as a Goose, 9:30 a.m.; Arthritis Fit program, 10 a.m.; Strong For Life, 10:30 a.m.; lunch, noon; art class, 12:30 p.m.; bingo, 1 p.m.; wood carving, 4 p.m.; line dancing, $3, 6 p.m.; Women’s Chorus, 7 p.m.; ballroom dancing class, 7:30 p.m.

April 22 — Fitness center open, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; one-mile walk aerobics, 9:30 a.m.; legal services by appointment, 9:30 a.m.; volunteer lunch by invitation only, 11:45 a.m.; no regular lunch; T.O.P.S. meeting, 5:30 p.m.; senior Zumba class, $5, 6 p.m.; Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group, 6 p.m.; Quilt Group, 6:30 p.m.; cardio mix class, $5, 7:15 p.m.

April 23 — Fitness center open, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; one-mile walk aerobics, 9:30 a.m.; Arthritis Fit program, 10 a.m.; entertainment by Gene Denton & Guests, 10 a.m.; free blood pressure screenings by Nightingale Home Healthcare, 10 a.m.; Garden on the Go, 11 a.m.; lunch provided by Danville Regional Rehabilitation, noon; bingo provided by Park Square Manor, 1 p.m.; Senior Strength Class, $5, 4 p.m.

April 24 — Fitness center open, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; one-mile walk aerobics, 9:30 a.m.; Arthritis Fit program, 10 a.m.; Wii bowling, 10 a.m.; lunch, noon; two-mile walk aerobics, 1 p.m.; entertainment by Hendricks County Line Band, $2, 6 p.m.

April 25 — Fitness center open, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., one-mile walk aerobics, 9:30 a.m.; Arthritis Fit program, 10 a.m.; Wii bowling, 10 a.m.; wood carving, 10 a.m.; Strong for Life, 10:30 a.m.; lunch provided by Unique Home Solutions, noon; bingo provided by The Village of Avon, 1 p.m.

April 28 — Fitness center open, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Hoosier Park trip, 9 a.m.; “Loose as a Goose,” 9:30 a.m.; Arthritis Fit program, 10 a.m.; Strong for Life, 10:30 a.m.; lunch, noon; art class, 12:30 p.m.; bingo provided by Gentiva, 1 p.m.; wood carving, 4 p.m.; line dancing, $3, 6 p.m.; Women’s Chorus, 7 p.m.; ballroom dancing class, 7:30 p.m.
