Animal shelter names committee leaders

CNHI

— Misty Eyes Animal Shelter & Learning Center in Brownsburg has announced the addition of several new volunteer positions. These volunteers will head up several important committees designed to further advance Misty Eyes.

Kathleen Garrett is the grant committee leader, Lori Piper is the humane education committee leader, and Jodi Trotter is the foster family support committee leader. Chrissy Barker was named volunteer office assistant. Misty Eyes continues to search for an adoption committee leader and a volunteer coordinator.

Misty Eyes is at 640 E. Main St.

The organization is raising funds to build Hendricks County's only no-kill shelter. Additionally, they provide free educational programs and other community outreach programs including "LUHY," a program designed to provide senior citizens and those facing life-altering challenges with options for the care and future of their pets.
