— Story Time for children ages 3 through those in pre-kindergarten is 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays.
— Little Listeners is a program for 18- to 36-month-old toddlers at 1 p.m. Thursdays.
— A naturalist from the McCloud Nature Center will visit at 4 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month.
Coatesville-Clay Township Public Library
— McCloud Nature Park will present a nature program on the first Wednesday of each month.
— Storytime is held Wednesdays from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. for children ages 3 to 6. Stories, crafts, games, and refreshments are free of charge. No registration is required.
— Page Turners will take place at 5 p.m. every Tuesday.
— Little Listeners will take place at 1 p.m. every Thursday.
Danville Public Library
— Friends Jam is 6 to 8:30 p.m. each Thursday at the Train Station in Ellis Park. Friends Jam is a collection of local musicians who perform, primarily using acoustic instruments. They play and sing a variety of music. Donations received go to Friends of the Library and Friends of the Park.
— Animal Tales presented by the Hendricks County Parks and Recreation Naturalist will take place from 4 to 4:30 p.m. Nov. 1. Preschoolers and young school age children are invited to take part in exciting animal adventures with the Hendricks County Park and Recreation naturalist. Animal Tales programs introduce young children to nature through a featured children’s book and fun crafts centered on the theme. These programs are free and registration is not required. This month book will be One Odd Old Owl by Paul S. Adshead.
— Krafty Kids will take place at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 5 and 19. Children in grades K through 5 will be meeting in the Children’s Activity Room to create a Thanksgiving themed craft. They will also be given an ‘at home’ scavenger hunt list. Registration is required.
